Insert compatible with Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion®. The design provides both efficient storage and enhanced play. Many sections of the insert can be used during play, making setup and clearing times much easier. The insert is arranged in three stages.

Figures stay in their storage boxes. Also note that while the character storage boxes are still used to store your character cards and other player parts, there is also room in the card trays for cards not currently in use. See below for more information.

All types of components are divided by type, organizing all game components. Medium and small monster racks are placed vertically in a tray. Larger standing monsters go on a separate board with the terrain tiles.

Both card trays are designed for sleeved cards. There is therefore enough space to store them even if they are sheathed. Each of them also includes a large slot for storing character cards that are not currently in use. This will allow you to have more space in character storage boxes for components and sleeved cards. Each of the card trays also has space to use the three card dividers that come with the game.

When you put the game back in the box, place the city map first. Next comes the additional scenario book and dials. Then place the scenario book with the ring binder on the side opposite the additional scenario book as shown, with the space between the ring binders filled by the dials. Finally, place the rulebooks and the table of elements above everything else. When fully charged, the box is filled to the top, allowing vertical storage.
