Azul: Summer Pavilion (ML)
In this new opus, completely independent of the two previous ones, we return to Portugal, this time to build the Summer Pavilion of King Manuel Premier*. Be careful not to waste the earthenware.
Each player starts with his board where 7 6-pointed stars are represented, and in the center of the pillars, statues and on the sides of the windows. You can imagine that all this will influence the scoring.
Azul Summer Pavilion lasts 6 turns. At the beginning of each turn, we will fill the factory tiles present in the center of the table. Each round, one type of tile is considered to be a “joker”.
On his turn, a player can take all the tiles of the same type + 1 joker from a factory and place them next to his board. The other tiles are placed in the center of the table, which will create another pool of tiles round after round.
As always in Azul , you can always choose to take the tiles of a type present in the center of the table rather than choosing a factory.
When all the tiles have been taken, each player will be able to arrange the tiles on his board.
Each star is made up of 6 branches, each numbered from 1 to 6. To place a blue tile in compartment 6, you must have 6 blue tiles (jokers allowed). And you score a point for the tile you just placed + one per adjacent tile.
If you surround a pillar, a statue or a window, you gain a bonus. From turn to turn you can only keep 4 tiles for the next turn. Too many will cost you negative points!
