This product is an expansion and requires the base game Catan - Ext. Cities and knights to be played.

The island of Catania is experiencing a new boom. The cities are prosperous and can now aspire to be elevated to the rank of metropolises. Resources have become more and more refined and are used in the construction of large buildings such as town halls, libraries and cathedrals. A real race for progress is on!

Colonists can now hire knights, build ramparts and acquire new resources (Cloth, paper, currency) which will be used to develop their colony, build cities, but also metropolises and fight against barbarians, enemies common to all players.
